ALBUM: ‘THANK ME LATER’ BY DRAKE
Jun 30, 2010

It is pretty much confirmed that no artist has been as hotly anticipated since the year 2003 bought us 50 Cents: ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin’
After many push backs, the 15th June 2010 saw the world wide release of Drakes much awaited album ‘Thank Me Later.’
The Canadian born rapper begins by serenading us with the track entitled ‘Fireworks’ featuring Alicia Keys.
Artists featuring on the album include record label boss Lil Wayne, The Dream, Jay-Z, T.I, Young Jeezy, Swizz Beats and backing vocals from Mary J Blige and Omarion. On a verse from Niki Minaj Drake raps……’I love Niki Minaj, I’ve told her I admit it, I hope one day we get married just to say ……we did it.’
Gritty album this is not, rather a melodic tribute to his hard work, and obvious women troubles. The hype is well deserved. It would have made an even bigger impact if not leaked two weeks prior.
Thank you later Drake, I’d rather thank you now.
