The BET awards 2010 is gauranteed to bring all the top names out in the music industry...

With the fast approaching BET Awards around the corner and a whole lot of nominations for different Artists ranging from Beyonce, Jay-Z , Melaine Fiona, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Young Money, and quite a number of others, there is certainly one Artist who really made an impression especially at this time when the “Species of Female rappers” are almost being extinct. Nicki Minaj or real name (Onika Tanya Maraj) who was signed to Young Money Entertainment in August 2009,has since then been on the air waves from  collaboration singles “Bedrock” with Young Money, “5 Star (Remix)” with Yo Gotti, “Up Out My Face” with Mariah Carey, “My Chick Bad” with Ludacris to her single “Massive Attack”.

Nicki has brought back the sensation of what it takes to be a female rapper and portrays an image of a Black Barbie. Nicki Minaj is set to release her first album this year; she has also been tipped to perform at the upcoming BET Awards which will take place on Sunday June 27.
