MIXTAPE: DJ SCARFZ AND ABSTRAKT PRESENTS XPERIMENT
Jul 29, 2010
The début mixtape from DJ Scarfz and Abstrakt is a showcase for both their musical abilities
Xperiment gives an eclectic, yet balanced introduction to the talents of one of the freshest UK artists on road right now. The mixtape combines Hip-Hop, R&B, Funky House and Grime genres, in a unique and interesting way. Tunes such as 'Come Dance for Me' offer an example of uplifting Funky House, whilst 'Should We B Together' is a soothing slow jam. The mixtape also offers some good samples, such as the use of Kid Cudi's 'Day and Night,' and 50 Cents 'I Get Money'. Xperiment is packed full of raw energy and enthusiasm which cleverly combines vocal harmonising with rapping and MCing.
