A song recorded by the late Tupac Shakur entitled 'Dear Mama' is to be be archived in the US Library of congress
The moving tribute song to mothers, was recorded by the Hip-Hop legend in 1995.
Every year work is nominated by the public, and of these pieces some are chosen to be preserved for future generations. Shakur follows in the footsteps of other greats such as Grandmaster Flash and Public Enemy who's work has also been preserved in this way.
The legendary rapper who sold around 75million albums worldwide, was was shot dead in 1996.
