Rio Ferdinand has expressed an interest in appearing in Coronation Street

Rio is reported as saying that he would like to appear in the 'nations favourite,' which will soon be celebrating its 50th anniversary, in oreder to sort out trouble maker David Platt. He told The Sun: “I wouldn’t mind getting hold of that David Platt. He’s too naughty. I would come in and be the hard taskmaster and tell him to leave Tina alone. Then hopefully he would stop picking on people.”
The revelation comes following Snoop Dogg's initial interest in appearing in Corrie. According to reports the rapper is interested in having a cameo role in the soap. Snoop is reported as saying: "I love the whole dynamic, the way it is put together, it is my world, it is something I could fall into."
