BOB MARLEY MUSIC DESTROYED
Aug 11, 2010

Master recordings from the late Bob Marley have been destroyed in a fire in Ghana
The music and personal belongings of the late Reggae artist were being stored in the studio complex owned by the legends wife. The solar-powered studio in Aburi, Ghana, was established by Rita; who has been living in Africa for the pat 10 years.
The storage consisted of tapes and performances of Marley, who passed away in 1981.
Although not confirmed, reports suggest that the blaze was caused by an electrical issue.
Rita Marley has said that she will rebuild Studio One; which was first built in 2009.
