After winning the Euro Cup in 2008, players and fans are overjoyed, having secured their first ever World Cup trophy in history.

The World Cup tournament has been a chance for South Africa to shine, and has helped promote unity and peace across the entire nation. Former South African President Nelson Mandela was present at Sundays closing ceremony.
